Our faculty and staff have been hard at work for one of our favorite days of the year: Open House! There’s a lot to see in one morning, so we’re here to help. Here are 10 things you can’t miss at Notre Dame Prep’s Open House.
1. Engaging teachers: At Open House, you’ll have the chance to step into the classroom and meet the people behind an NDP education. Our teachers are the best around.
2. The Innovation Wing: Learn more about the future home of STEAM at NDP by talking to our STEAM director and reviewing plans for this amazing new space.
3. Music, performing arts, dance, and more: Whether you’ve been dancing since you could walk or have always wanted to give theater a try, we’ve got something for you.
4. Smiling faces: Around every corner, you’ll be greeted by the friendly faces of the NDP community.
5. Innovation Lab for Middle Level: Learn about Innovate and Design Time, check out our 3D printers, imagine yourself as an anchor for WNDP, and more in this dedicated space for our Middle Level.
6. Cookies, cookies, cookies: If the 60+ different clubs aren’t enough to draw you into the NDP Club Fair, the smell of our famous cookies surely will!
7. WIN Room: This year, we placed 230 students in 274 opportunities through our “Women In” career exploration program—come learn about the amazing opportunities that await you.
8. Athletic fields for current (and future) champions: From the Yeardley Love Turf Field and top-notch tennis courts, to our swimming pool and cross-country course, to our Middle Level gym and Sports and Fitness Center, our Blazers have it all!
9. The NDP Chapel: Take a moment to pause and reflect in the chapel. Here at NDP, spirituality infuses each day, from morning prayer to the afternoon blessing.
10. A chance to see yourself in the halls of Notre Dame Prep: From our academics to co-curriculars (both in and out of the classroom), NDP inspires girls to pursue their passions and new possibilities. We can’t wait to meet you!
